Not really a unique topic but I felt like sharing. It's lunch time, my co-worker is hungry and I hear him mubling next to me. He's too fkin lazy to walk maybe a block to get some food. The food is good and he knows he likes it but he still wasn't willing to walk.

Now his lazy ass is at Subway instead because it's a few doors down. I'm sure it will taste great with his high blood pressure meds for dessert.

how can someone be too lazy to eat? Eating is one of life's luxuries!

Subway is far from the worst choice for someone that's fat and lazy. heh. At least they have food there (though do you have to think when you order) that isn't as bad for you as most fast food places.

That said, he won't walk a block?!? I'm a lazy sob and I'll walk a lot farther than that.

Well we have a cafe upstairs that is only an elevator ride away, so even the laziest troglodyte can get very good food (better than anything in the mall below, that's for damn sure) with only a simple elevator ride.

Still a lot of lazy co-workers though, just not in the same way as you stated in the OP.

same here. a block is really nothing. there are lazy types here, but we pretty much have to drive anywhere to get food. closest place is 5. miles away, and its a quiznos

Funny you should ask. He normally eats packaged burritos that he microwaves. EVERYDAY. No joke.

I guess today he's going wild and heading to Subway.

That's what I mean. Even if you're lazy the point is you want some good food so it should be worth the walk. It's not like having to walk a few blocks to a meeting or something.

That's what I find so pathetic about it.

Subway is an okay choice if you have high blood pressure if you get something like the club without cheese and mayo. On wheat.

I've watched our resident slob eat an entire bag of tostitos chips and a whole jar of cheese sauce for "lunch", with a few dr peppers to wash it down.

A friend of mine will miss meals and do things slower to so doesn't use as much energy.

Lazy in their own life, I don't care. My across the wall teammate never seems to do anything but surf the web.

<--- understands the irony of posting this on OT prior to 5pm Pacific
