Lo, I bought a BUFFALO WHR-G54S a while back because of all the good buzz and it was working fine for about a month, but about once a day now it just stops accepting connections. The router is still broadcasting a wireless address/name, but I can't connect and connecting via ethernet doesn't work either. No computer I connect (out of 4 possible) can get an IP. I flashed to DD-Wrt and it does the exact same thing. Resetting the router doesn't do anything, (long enough to power cycle), resetting back to factory default settings doesn't work, and the lights on it show nothing wrong. Any ideas? Just hardware failure of some sort?

I assumed it wouldn't be possible since I flashed the firmware with 3rd party stuff.

The new firmware might have a new core IP, and a new ID and password, search the firmware site.
