Laziness makes technology..or vice versa?

If you look at all our great inventions out there..you'll see that they promote laziness. Like the original WHEEL, people were too lazy to lift things, or the car..people were too lazy to walk long distances..to the microwave, computer, and everything.

And it seems like the smart ones are the laziest, and the laziest are the smart ones. I mean, it's the lazy people that come up with brilliant ideas and short cuts in doing things, while a perhaps not so lazy person would actually do things the longer way.

it's efficiency! not laziness :D or you can do more in the same period of time or more with the same amount of power output :D

Of course we get to slackoff because of those as well...

Like esung said, it's, so we can be more efficient. It was probably much easier to move things(people included) with a wheel than say carrying them by hand.(e.g.large rocks):)
