Lay's Stax vs Pringles

Went to Ralphs at lunch to get some junk food. Both Lay's and Pringles were on sale for $1. . . decisions decisions. . . .

I chose Lay's this time (original and bbq). What would you do?

Never had Stax, but I do enjoy Pringles.

I liked the Stax that i've had, but they still don't beat out Pringles...the Stax were a little thicker from what I remember, which I didn't like.

I used to like Pringles until I tasted Lay's Stax. Lay's > Pringles

if you feel it's better then by all means just get it, screw the opinion of others, espically withsomething as trivial as a potato chip in a tube.

mmm Stax are so much better than Pringles
the thickness for one makes it better... but the BBQ Stax, destroys the BBQ Pringles. thats what made my decision. Don't know about the other flavors, but BBQ Pringles are not that good, especially compared to any other chip.

Bah! I like Pringles better, but my favorite are Utz ripple cut chips and a close second for Fritos corn chips.

the reduced fat pringles in the silver tube are really great. (not the zero fat).

I don't mean because they are better for you, who cares about that ? But that they taste better.

They were on sale for $1 per can here also, and we bought 2 of each brand. I had never tried stax before. The Lay's are absolutely thicker than the pringles, and seem to hold up better in the can (you don't get 5 chips worth of crumbs at the bottom of the can.) I think the Lays have better flavor too. So I'm voting Lay's.
