lax traffic on new years morning?

i'm driving from san diego to lax news years morning and i'm concerned about traffic. My flight leaves at 8:15 what time should i head out?

Just take the toll roads, they are always empty and you can go mach 3 on them. It's only a few bucks and worth it. Next time just fly out of John Wayne and skip the whole LAX crap entirely.
