Lawyers?

Any lawyers post on these forums? Did you hate law school? Did you have ambitions of providing justice throughout the world only to change after your first year to the money filled corporate law? Do you regularly work 50-60 hour week? Do you like being a lawyer? Would you do things different if you had a chance?

Just some questions from a curious prospect.

It's just like any other profession...you either want to do it or you don't. You really really have to want to though, considering the 3 year schooling and the amount of money you'll spend on law school, the numerous hours pouring over court cases, mock trials, etc.

Yes, I am quite aware of those aspects of becoming a lawyer. It just seems that there are soooo many obstacles to overcome, and then once you become a lawyer, society thinks you're a money sucking, do-whatever-it-takes to get paid scoundrel.
