How do you make national news for being a fat ****** crying baby b!tch with nothing to worry about and abuse their powers by ****** over the people you are given the task to protect from people who do these exact things? (permission granted to grammar nazi that line)

Awww fvck... I guess losing your pants is worse than willfully blackballing a whole family into financial hell and utter shame.....

I see your point, vital.

Seems these days, you can get away with anything. He's a black lawyer, that's why.

it happens from time to time at like every dry cleaner's that's ever existed.

tag gets accidentally torn off, the hanger stick's to someone else's order, etc, etc.

I know! Why can't the system just be based on common sense? ANYONE can see that this lawsuit is complete and utter bullsh!t. It should go down like this:

*judge reads court case*

Judge: ... is this a ****** joke? *sigh* I'm awarding the Chungs a cool $100,000K for having to put up with this crap. Roy Pearson will have his practicing license abolished effective immediately, and is sentenced to a life working as a retail vendor. I hereby also sentence his lucky judge pants to recycled into toilet paper and awarded to the Chung family so they can wipe their asses clean of this douchebag.

Another shining example of why blacks have a few hurdles to cross. :(

How do you know he's black? That isn't his picture on that page - that is the Mayor of DC.

As for the topic at hand, I am a civil litigator myself, and I find this case totally absurd. IMO he should absolutely be disciplined, and probably disbarred, by the DC Bar, and his term as an administrative law judge should not be renewed (it may be lost on non-lawyers that he is just an ALJ, a position that carries very little of the power and prestige of being an actual trial judge).

I don't agree compuwiz1's assessment, but:

"Judge Pearson has been active in the Washington, DC community for decades and has served as counsel or board member for such organizations as the ... Black Seeds, Inc. ... and the DC chapter of the National Council of Black Lawyers."

.. is probably from where he deduced his race. Although, you probably don't have to be black to sit on the council for those organizations.

The lawsuit is obviously bunk, but I'm surprised that it's going to trial. If I'm not mistaken, this was filed in federal court. This really should have been thrown out early on Rule 11 for being filed to harass or other improper purpose. IMO, the judge shares some of the blame for contributing to the spectacle.

saw this on the news yesterday.... Some lawyer turned judge taking advantage of people again... pathetic. I hope he loses and they counter-sue for damages. I felt really bad when they interviewed the elderly Korean immigrants he is suing. They looked really bad. The asshole is even asking them to pay for a car so he can go to another drycleaner. People like him need to be taken behind the shed and killed.

I don't know if the judge is black or white, but his lawyer (who is a weasely little prick looking bastard) was white.

We should check to see if this address is actually correct and not a random address from a phonebook with the poor sap that has the same name as the judge.

If this guy is willing to go to the mat for a pair of suit pants just imagine the flood of litigation Anand is facing when he finds out his home address is being tossed about in an internet forum.:Q
