I agree with the author, this IP isnt worth fighting over.
Game copyrights are only worth something if you occasionally make a game out of them. Nobody has made an original game for Duke in 9 years, and THAT game was legendary for its delays.
I guess it must be damn near impossible to invent a new franchise these days. Apparently billion dollar companies would rather fight over the rotting food in the trash because table scraps are just too difficult to get.
