From MSNBC
A former employee is suing the owners, and Christie (and his wife) for wrongful termination.

First of all I do not watch the NBA - don't need to with all the fine college basketball around me. But how messed up is this? Is Christie's wife really such a harpy? Is hse really that paranoid? Fans who follow the team will know more about this.

EDIT: ooops, changed NBS to NBA. seems like it is BS to me, but hey if you enjoy it, have fun!

I suggest reading every column by Bill Simmons that deals with Doug Christie. He really is that whipped. Hell, in the preseason he got into a fight with one of the Lakers, and his wife jumped in. How bad is it when your wife has to stick up for you?

Edit: Here's a link to a google search in case you want to read those columns.

I didn't know Christie was such a fruit loop.

"With few exceptions, Doug Christie does not look at other women, avoiding dialogue or even eye contact," Wise wrote. "'Every conversation I've ever had with a woman since we've been married besides my wife she knows about,' he said."

That's not whipped, that's just plain crazy.

There was an ESPN Page 2 article about this some time ago, if your friend is whipped, you and your buddies chip in to send him a Doug Christie jersey anonymously.
