Does anyone know how it works for personal injury? Is it more than one year? What does "from the time of discovery" mean?

Depends. But the basic breakdown is if it happened in 2003, 2 years from teh date of the accident. If it happened before, then 1 year from teh date of the accident.

Here is a hard question then...what if the injury happened in late 2001, it was obvious, but I only knew who caused/why the injury happened in 2003 ?

go ask a lawyer if you think you're in trouble...or want to present an action against someone...do you really want to depend on the advice of ATOT?

*edit* I say this as a law student, too. *edit*
