When did they change the main actors for this show? I watched the first couple when the series started, but then stopped as it didn't seem to follow the theme it had advertised and I didn't really like whom was in it (mainly the male lead).

Did catch a few recently and I find it much more watchable with the shift. Just curious when it went down.

This season if I recall correctly.
 
I think they alternate with Vincent Donofreno(sp?) & now Chris Noth playing the lead roles, with their various partners.
I wish they'd just go with Noth, the other guy is too annoying.
 
I love the Law and Order shows. I mainly end up watching SVU though because thats whats on when I watch TV.

I haven't ever seen CSI but I'd probably like that too.

D'anofrio makes that show, how can you hate him??
 
They started alternating 2 seasons before this due to D'Onofrio's concerns about his health. I think Noth is great and it's good to have him back, but he doesn't bring the same feel to the show that D'Onofrio does.
 
Lots of people I know don't like Dnofrio. I for one love him in the show and he is the only reason I watch it.
 
I realize they write him to be some sort of genius, but some of the stuff he comes up with during the investigations is just way out there, at least to me.

I think he's a good actor, that's not what i have against him.

haven't had the chance to completely boot denofrio yet apparently.

noth is from the original l&o in its first seasons.
many people find denofrio annoying.
 
My problem with donofrio is that everytime I watch him on ci I keep on imagining him as an alien and will smith is about to come on screen and shoot him 🙁

Totally agree. Vincent D'Onofrio IS L&O:CI. Without him, it's pointless.
