The weird dude was screwed up.. I hated watching him. I'm glad they finally replaced that douchebag..

Apparently, he was even weirder off the set and caused a lot of problems. He also bitched everyone out that didn't vote for Kerry. Of course, that's because his political opinions are the best... being an actor and all.

I liked the original cast but never watched it. Vanilla Law & Order and SVU were always so much better IMHO.

Chris Noth Returns to "Law & Order"

As much as I love Vincent D'Onofrio, it's good to see "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" mixing things up a bit. Jam! Showbiz says that Chris Noth will be back on the beat full time this season, and the actor is more than happy to leave his "Sex and the City" persona, Mr. Big, behind.

"In the movie, he died. They didn't make the movie, but he had a heart attack and died," Noth said in a recent interview. That's hardcore!

Noth starred as Detective Mike Logan on the original "Law & Order" from 1990 to 1995. Last season, he was a regular guest star on "Criminal Intent," filling in while D'Onofrio dealt with medical issues. Noth popped up on the premiere, but his first full episode will air tonight. He'll also have a new partner, played by Annabella Sciorra (IMDB.com entry). The duo will switch off with D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe this season, with each tackling 11 episodes.

"Law and Order: Criminal Intent" airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola

yea, i've been getting the originals dvds through netflix:) course some of it is a tad dated and comes off rather corny now lol:) very 80's. apparently it was different because they shot it on 16mm to make it seem more documentary like than other shows of the time.

Never could get into CI.

The original and SVU FTW.

Of course, I don't watch either since my girlfriend is away. Just never really think to turn the TV on.

Don't like Chris Noth he is just not Vincent D'Onofrio and since Vincent D'Onofrio has been on there since the beginning they ought to just cancel the show.

I do like Annabella Sciorra though she is not hard to look at compared to the other gal that was on there.

FYI: Noth is going to do 11 episodes and D'Onofrio is doing 11 episodes.

i watch a rediculous amount of Law and Order (original and SVU), but Vincent D'Onofrio makes CI impossible to watch. Thank God Noth is replacing him for half the season.

He'll always be Mr. Big, I'm thinking.

I agree. He overacts so horribly, I want to punch him.

Damn his partner looks old. They need to bring in more Elisabeth Rohms. ;)

CI was definitely unwatchable w/ D'Onofrio.

I hate when people think actors aren't allowed to have opinions. This is America. We're all allowed to have an opinion and express it. Is he quoted as saying "My political opinions are the best because I'm an actor"? Or are you just projecting your own prejudices?

Oh, right. The latter.

poor guy. he's fvcking chris noth, not mr. big. i know everyone posting in this thread is a dude, which means you should not identify him as mr. big!!!

if you need to call him by a character's name, how about his law and order character's name, mike logan!

Vincent D'Onofrio = Gomer Pyle from Full Metal Jacket right? I don't watch Law & Order CI because of this guy, I can't stand how he always gets the killer to confess, I mean come on!
