Lavasoft Adaware vs BulletProofSoft

Ok, so I had both BulletProofSoft and Lavasoft's Ad-aware(free eddition) installed on my computer. I ran a scan with Ad-aware first after doing updates. It detected the usually spyware + the entire BPS application strange could I have aquired a infected copy? I then run a scan with BPS. That application detected Ad-ware as "attackware.Lavasoft"

Are these to programs totally wacked or what?

BTW I have removed BPS and still have Ad-aware on the system.
