Laurence Doyle and ATOT

Sent an email earlier to Laurence Doyle;
"Hi Laurance,
This is getting a bit depressing, Orbit@home doesn't get any funding from NASA and no news from PlanetQuest.
If there's ever been DC projects I wnated to get involved in, it's these two.
Any chance of some GOOD news?

Cheers,
TA_andy"

Says it all!!

Been up at Interpoint in Belfast for some training the last 3 weeks, didn't want to log in to my AnandTech account, don't know why, they are draconian with their security policy, got about 9 p4 2.8 ghz machines with XP Pro on them, wiped XP, put on 2000.
Anyway, been browsing through the OT forum, GOD, those people scare me, and to make it worse, I've seen a few DC regulars in there, you know who you are 😉

Major bummer, doesn't seem to be going anywhere :disgust:

Edit:
PS:
Should be of interest to mankind as well as your group Rich 😀 :beer:

Ever tried watching "Who's Line Is it Anyway (the brit version), you'ld fit in well there 😀

Got a reply this morning, here it is;
"Hi Andy!

Thanks for letting me know about Orbit@home. We've been so busy with our 100,000 star catalogue data reduction, and getting the computational parameters for determining single from double stars with and without planets down from the age of the universe to about two weeks per star, that we have just now gotten around to updating the web site.

Yes, we are very much still alive and -- again depending on our next influx of funding -- hope to go live this year.

All the very best, Laurance Doyle"
Says a lot and nothing at the same time 🙁
