I'm doing my laundry now in my building's laundry room. Anyone else here doing their laundry now? Anyone do their laundry in the middle of the night like I am?

Best way to do it!

Load as many washer/dryers you need to do all of it quick.

I was working days and I was a caretaker at the sh!tty 1970 particle-board-construction apartment I was living at. It was 2:30 AM and I needed to get to sleep. Sleep was almost with me, you know, I was right on the edge, when a washing machine in the 2nd floor laundry room in close proximity to my 1st floor bedroom started running. DAMN IT! I WAS ALMOST ASLEEP! The laundry hours of 7 AM to 10 PM are clearly posted in each laundry room (there were 6 in this particular building, 1 in each end of each of 3 floors). I grabbed my master key and went into the locked utility room where the "house" breaker panel was and shut it down. I was so pissed at the inconsiderate fool who would start a load in the middle of the night that I "forgot" to turn the breaker back on before I went to work.

Moral: Make sure that your 4:30 AM laundry isn't disturbing any of your neighbors.

Yeah, the laundry place I use is at least 300 feet away from all apartments, it isn't a bother to anyone. I like to be considerate to my neighbors... otherwise you end up with them throwing partys at 3am just for you :p

Good for you guys with the big ol' laundry rooms in the big ol' steel and concrete highrises. For everyone else living in a wood construction building, especially newer buildings that aren't as solid as the older ones, please observe posted laundry hours. Thank you!

BTW, I'm a night owl who would LOVE to have the ability to use my laundry room in the middle of the night. If the building allows for it, more power to ya.:D:beer:

I'll frequently do laundry at odd hours. But that's mostly because I forget about until I don't have any clothes to wear the next day. I have my own washer/dryer in a duplex so it doesn't bother anyone but me.
