Latitude D600 lappy

..it had w2k but after loading wxp pro the sound fails and syst.properties indicate no audio devices. Any thoughts on this??

1) check the device manager for a bang
2) always install the chipset drivers first
3) SIGMATEL STAC 9750 AC97

All D600 drivers for Win XP
