The command is similar to initexmf -u in other versions, but it doesn't seem to be the same in red hat. Any help?

Sigh, nevermind. A friend IMed it to me. It's "texhash" Anyone else hate Linux right about now?

Haha. Well, it's a love-hate relationship... while I'm at it, I'll go ahead and say that gEdit should NOT open multiple instances of a file by default... you can really get screwed over when you save the wrong one. Then again, maybe it's a sign that I should have left work before 8:50...
