I have an .avi encoded with xvid, but the problem is, no matter what xvid codec I get, it plays back with audio, but with a green screenand a few screwed up characters. This is apparently what happens when an older codec is being used to decode the movie...if that's the case, then I can't find the newest one!
I know the file is otherwise not corrupted, because gspot confirms it as such.
