latest xp critical update probs.

hey guys,

wanted to know if anyone else was having issues with the new compatibility updates release for xp. was causing some issues with ie6 locking up on my pc (maybe having to do with trillian, not 100% sure). anyway i pulled it off and it seems to be okay again.

Must be Trillian. Just finished upgrading two XP Pro machines with the three critical updates, and nary a problem noted.

I installed the update. As soon as I rebooted I got a "your computer has just recovered from a critical error" message that repeated its self every 5 seconds. I rebooted about 4 times and the message stopped.isgust ;

yeah i'm thinking it might be trillian. it started doing it again (ie not closing down like it should) and i rebooted, didn't load trillian. been running without bogging for a bit now. hmmmm.
