Yesterday I let windows update install the update below.

It removed all my startup programs including windows security essentials. Did anyone else have that happen ? I put them all back but it was odd that it should remove all the programs especially the one that is suppose to protect the pc from malware.


 
Very strange,I had no issues with that update on both my PCs(Win7 x64/x86 Ultimate).

We all know Windows Update can be quirky at times with some PCs.
 
and MS wonders why autoupdate isnt left on, and the default time is always between 1am and 5am, its the best way to scramble an otherwise good OS.
 
Got it here as well - no noted problems. Everything works as normal.
 
I've noticed nothing else wrong since the update, I just put the start up programs back and all seems fine.
I'm wondering if it was related to me replacing explorer with directory opus
