Latest Vista 64 patch - issues?

Any one else have this? System restore solved it, but I notice the update is still available. ???

You can right click on the update and choose to hide it and it wont bother you no more.

Which patch caused your issue? My last update was for Defender, and that was today. Before that, I had 7 on the 13th.

By same one, do you mean the one yesterday? I don't see how that would cause your issue, but since you
used system restore, did you download it again?

I installed, then the system starts shutting off, as in power cut, every 20 minitues or so. System restore to just before update, no problems now. It again shows as available to install in WU.

I was curious to know if you have tried to download the patch again? It shouldn't have caused your problem. I'm thinking that maybe it got currupted.
