I got hold of a EVGA 8600GTS SC used for $60 and want to know what seem to be the most recent stable nvidia XP drivers for version number. Thanks
 
Vista or XP...?

All 169.XX series drivers seem very stable to me. I had 169.09 Beta on XP, now 169.25 on Vista 64.

Both seem to be perfectly stable.

169.09 was perfectly fine, aparently more stable than the next release (don't know which one - since my Vista install is perfectly stable, I don't go back to XP 😛 )
