I recently upgraded to the newest Geforce drivers where they have included the new control panel. I read AT's article about them and they seemed to like them. Personally I found the new control panel to be garbage. Kind of like ATIs CCC which was way worse since it was slow and bloated (this may've changed since I upgraded).

Anyway, there was like 3 main categories and I enabled everything and put to advanced... yet it seems like theres too many "layers" to go through to find the stuff I need. I was looking for an option but I couldn't really pinpoint which of the 3 categories it would be under so I had to dig through them all. Just give me a list of everything. As seen in the classic mode, this doesn't mean it will become cluttered or complicated.

I customized and got rid of all the retard/noob annoyances, but frankly the old one did everything it was suppose to just fine. So I switched back to Classic. I just hope I'm not missing out on anything new since I believe it said any new additions will only be present in the new one.

But whats bugging me is everytime I boot to XP, the system tray icon appears and the message shows up about SLI rendering is disabled. Well no crap, you'd think it wouldnt show the message if only 1 video card is installed. Hell the motherboard isnt even SLI so why does it need to bug me with that?? Anyone running SLI probably knows wth it is anyway.

In spite of only having the control panel show in the desktop context menu (I like the quick right-click->Nvidia Display->2005FPW to load the control panel) and the system tray icon DISABLED, it still loads everytime and gives me the SLI message. I've stopped everything possible in Msconfig but it continues to load and creates a new entry under Startup in MSconfig. I rarely need to change my Nvidia display settings, and if I do I can quickly load the control panel from the desktop context menu. Why the hell can't I completely disable any startup stuff?

It sounds like you're using the 91.31 driver, which has the SLi popup bug, Upgrade to a later driver (XG 91.45 is my personal favorite) and that will be fixed. Also, at least with the XG drivers, there IS an option to switch back to the Classic Control Panel (which I personally prefer). Hope this helps :) .
