i recently downloaded the latest nvida drivers (the ones about a wk old) and find my 3dmark2001 scar significantly lower
i have my geforce3ti200 oc to 230/530 and was getting about 6100 or geforce3ti500 range but now im getting 5100 (normal ti200 range)
have other people experienced this
my games still play nicely so i probably wont care too much if i loose a few bragging points but i was curious none the less

Are you sure it is still overclocked? Uninstalling old drivers and installing new ones will wipe out the coolbits reg entries.

Word of caution. If you are running XP, the refresh rate fixing programs out there will not work on the 28.32's. For this reason alone, I am sticking with the 27.50's. Your games will all run at 60mhz with the 28.32's.

If you are running XP/2k then the refresh fix won't work because of the new control panel or somethin. I believe Madonion has posted a fix and some other site did too. Neither of tehm is as easy as running the refresh fix app but supposedly they do get your refresh rates back to what they should be. Like LaryyJoe said, right now your running all your 3d apps at 60hz.

what i really want is custom resolutions back. haven't tried the latest det but the previous version couldn't do it. really annoying that they leave out 1400x1050 and keep in the simply wrong 1280x1024. 1280x960 should be standard too.

I never thought about 1280x1024 not beeing the same ratio as 800x600, 1024x768, etc.

What happens when I use this resolution, is the image being distorted?

With the drivers I'm currently using I have the option of using 1280x960 instead. If this is more 'correct' how come stuff like wallpapers are often created for 1280x1024 and not 1280x960?

Seems easier to me to just use the 27.50's or another leaked driver comparable to the 28.32's and use the nvrefreshrate fix proggy. The 27.50's are right on mark with the 28.32's. I'll upgrade as soon as someone writes a program like nvrefreshrate that works with the 28.32 drivers, OR, maybe microsoft will get around to fixing this XP bug.
