New Forum Categories - 06/02/2007 11:22 PM

In addition to the upgraded forum software, we are working on rolling out quite a number of new forums this weekend. Hopefully this will encourage focused, on topic discussions in areas currently lost to the noise.

We will also be breaking up software (among others) in to multiple forums. This will mean moving current threads to the right forum as they are active. We understand that this may cause some difficulty, but the end result should really benefit everyone. We ask that you please be patient with the admins, mods, and other posters as we try to sort everything out.

The biggest help you as members can offer us is to try to make sure new topics are started in the right place. In addition, before going off to complain to the mods about your favorite thread being deleted, please take a second to look for it in a place that would make sense.

Yeah. I looked left, and Off Topic Was gone. I reloaded and It was there again, in a new spot...

Its going to take time to get used to this

The fix was posted a few hours ago, sorry I don't have a link.

All you have to do is clean your keys. The website doesn't work with a dirty keyboard. Something to do with cleanliness being next to godliness or something I don't know.

I'm glad to finally be seeing some changes to the categories. It's had the same layout for the yeras that I've been here, as the only addition/change I can even think of was the adding of P&N around the start of the war in Iraq. The sectioning off of the categories looks good so far.

No matter what changes you guys whine about, you're still getting your money's worth :thumbsup:.

I can see having a separate forum for P&N, but also one for cars AND relationships? So many categories is only going to water down the Off Topic Section, especially since the YACTs are some of the best topics in the Off Topic Forum.
