Maybe it's just me, but asking about a person's sexual life in an computer related interview just strikes me as weird. It also amazes me that Romero would answer. If I were Stevie 'Killcreek' Case, I'd be pissed.

I guess Romero's just an open-minded kinda guy. I mean it's an image thing: would you want to be the guy that gets pissed and leaves every time someone asks them a personal question, or the guy that shrugs it off and jokes about it?

Would you be upset if you were on the TODAY show and Matt Laur asked you if you enjoyed shagging your wife rotten on a daily basis?

He probably encouraged those questions. You know he loved bragging about that and trying to show others what a stud he is. I read in an article somewhere that after Daikatana got bashed the way it did that she now has to use tweezers on him. Din't say what for. :D

I agree with NFS4, it doesn't seem like something that belongs in a computer-related interview..... but then again, it depends on the 'mood' of the interview.

Got to Playboy Digital, &amp; do a search for &quot;killcreek&quot; or &quot;stevie case.&quot; Either one ought to return her digital pictorial, &amp; if you search the net hard enough you'll find her entire cyber club portfolio. Not that impressive, really, just creative applications of plastic surgery.

Sounds like he was trying to impress everyone by telling us about how much of a stud he is. WTF? An interview isn't an appropriate forum for that kind of stuff. That's conversation for when you're drunk and in a bar. People don't even do that in Playboy magazine interviews (with the possible exception of Wilt Chamberlain).

There's two intelligent ways to handle blunt, intrusive &quot;Did you have sex with so-and-so&quot; questions. Either you something witty and very subtle, or you tell the interviewer that it's none of his damn business.

Well, before I thought Romero was a really big geek, and now, I think Romero is a really big geek who wants people to think that he's some kind of stud. Crazy stuff.

haha well I made a comment about this in the last Romero thread, but to refresh your memory...

I knew Stevie &quot;Kill Creek&quot; Case back about four years ago. She lived on the same dorm floor as I did my freshman year at KU.

She was the best Quake player I had ever seen (she beat everyone else on our floor) but she was still &quot;into&quot; school (was a Poly Sci major, in hall gov., etc.). Spring semester was when she got into her clan and left school to go play (and eventually beat) Romero.

What I find just astonishing though is how different she looks now. I dug out my yearbook and scanned a picture of her from 96 just to prove to you guys what I'm talking about.

I could make some comments, but I'll just let the picture speak for itself. It's a crappy scan from a B&amp;W photo but I don't know if you'd want it any more vivid. I'll include the &quot;tame&quot; photo from the playboy shoot for those of you who would like to witness the amazing transformation. Pics will only be up for a short time.

Yes, and he chose the former. Guess it was a little too subtle for some people :D. He handled it pretty well IMHO.

Honestly I don't see what all the fuss is about.
