latest intel price cuts question...

Can anyone tell me when the intel price cuts are? I was thinking either on monday (26th) or Sept. 1st, but I'm confused now as to which date it is, if either of those. I'm waiting to buy a new cpu, but i wanna wait a few days till the prices go down a little. Thanks
 
Already dropping though the 2.4 hasn't seemed to be dropping to its correct position...

I would expect p4 2.8ghz reviews this week....maybe even tomorrow!!!

NO paperlaunch either these things will actually hit shelves ssoner then amd's phantom chips of the moment. Notice how the amd chips are not even lisetd at pricewatch yet though the 2.8ghz p4 has been there for 1-1/2 weeks...
 
i know intel just did a pricecut on that cpu, but i thought there was supposed to be an across the board price cut w/ their new chips soon. I'm just trying to decide when to buy a 1.8 or 2.0...
 
Yeah...and I believe Aug 26th was the date listed...

Likely wait another week for vendors to work through some inventory and drop prices to there reported levels...


I agree the 1.8 isn't where it should be yet as well as the 2.26 and 2.4ghz models...
