You mean E2160 is the Pentium D 935 replacement. E4300 will still exist at the $113 USD price point.

You mean E2160 is the Pentium D 935 replacement. E4300 will still exist at the $113 USD price point.

Word I hear is E4300 will have a short life after June. It is the same chip with 512k more cache. Who knows, but it looks like Intel is going to have a super competitive chip at every price point.

Well in Q3 the E6550 is launching at 163USD, the E6750 is launching at 183USD, and the E6850 at the 266USD price point.

I assume the E6600 will fall to 163USD, the E6700 at 183USD, and a E6800 will be at 266USD for the older people who have 1066FSB motherboards and not Bearlake derivatives.

So that leaves these SKU's below, E4300, E4400, E6320, E6420

So you need to fill in the 133USD, 113USD and 93USD price points, so the E4300 could potentially get knocked off entirely, so that maybe why it has such a short life span.
