According to the rules of english - I think - this auction is for "a complete system" except "mids and tweets,JL audio 12W6 subs, three precision power amps A600, A200, 4200, Audio Control processors EQL, 4XS X-over, Epicenter, Sony CDX-C780 head unit, two Sony amps 10020, 6020, Pioneer CDX-FM61 CD changer"
So it's actually nothing.
Is that it?

The white amps are the PPI (Precision Power) ones.

I think it is just a typo.

Well, at least you give a damn if you might have been wrong :D Many others could care less and just keep doing it.

i saw an ebay auction where a guy bought a picture of a ps2 for 150 or something.

the seller listed all the specs of the ps2 and smack in the middle of it, he put "auction is for the picture of the ps2."

the buyer didnt see it and bought it, thinking it would be a ps2. sucks.

Yup, it turns out that it was a typo guys. Here's the sequence of messages.

Me to him:

> > You're a tool. No one is going to bid on your sh!t
> > of a scam, so remove it before you earn yourself
> > enough bad luck to end up dieing 25 years too early.

His response:

> Sorry no scam here, just retired bass head lookin to
> clean out his basement, and if I die 25 years to early
> it would be a blessing, thanks for the time you took
> to e-mail me.

My apology:

Hey man, I need to apologize for my e-mail. I jumped the gun thinking thinking that you were trying to pull off a scam, but it was because I misread your description. I actually came across your auction because it was linked from another site, where multiple other people thought you were trying to pull off a scam as well. I think that you should consider rewording your description so that it's a little more clear as to what it is you're including, and what it is you're not including.

Again, I apologize. Good luck with your auction.

Now I feel like the tool!!

very misleading.

Well, yes and no...
1. The Seller puts the description of the phone first. Misleading.
2. The Seller puts "INFORMATION ONLY" in capital red letters immediately under the description. Not Misleading.
3. "Guaranteed the information is true or your money back!" Not Misleading.
4. "I will email you the information as soon as payment is received" Not Misleading.
5. The "Buy It Now" price is only $9.99 for a $150 phone. Not Misleading. I think it would be misleading if he put the price at $149, which is the amount in the Title.

I think I've used up my quota of "Misleading's"

Well he sent me a follow up e-mail asking for suggestions on how to make it clearer, and I just told him to be absolutely clear about what he's including, and what he's not. I think he's working on making some changes.
