latest crw-f1 firmware (1.0f)

has anyone updated their drive to the latest firmware (december 27, 2002) - 1.0f? does the new addition of 24x ripping of commercial pressed audio discs make a big difference in the performance? have you had any other problems post firmware update?

Yeah, I updated to the new firmware. The firmware that came with my burner was really out of date. Haven't had a chance to do much ripping yet. I just did it for the extra burn speeds.

LOL... weird enough i just did it a minute ago... then i saw this thread... seems ok so far.

I upgraded my CRW-F1 to 1.0f firmware about a month ago. Everything works pretty good so far... ;-)
