Sorry for the hassle guys. That's the "quirks" one accepts for a free server. All the photos are thumb-nailed though which should help some.

looks nice... I dont like the tubified wires tho... but thats just personal preference. Do the flippy switches control fans?

SWScorch: Thanks! At this point, just one baybus switch controls a fan. (The exhaust fan in the top blowhole.) A second controlled an intake fan but I sacrificed the blowhole to put in the window. The other two switches control lights in the case.

I'm not sure about painting the case. Talk about opportunities to screw up!

Besides, what do you do after you get a slick looking purple and silver case? (Or whatever?) You've still got the monitor, keyboard, printer, etc., that are all in basic beige. Where does it end? :)

Magicthyse, do you think the red lights are too much? They look pretty sharp in there, especially the way they play off the red wire loom and red GeForce2 Pro. ;)

Dan, the mods look awesome, but believe me, a rad paint job finishes the case. i have the enlight case as well, and what i did was drill out the front intake holes, took out that stock fan in the front and added a 92mm fan there. i added an 80mm fan in the back after i sawed out the ugly grill and added a chrome grill instead. i cut a pacman eating a pellet on the side of the case and put a lexan window in there with some window molding. i also added a handle to the top for easy portability. for the paint job i painted the sides and top metallic dark blue, and i painted the front metallic silver. the faceplates and power buttons i took off and painted blue. it looks awesome. i'll see if i can upload any pics or anything, but really, think about a paint job. :)

Tetsuo316: Your paint job sounds real great. I'd like to see some pics and I'm sure others would as well.

I have removed the stock grids in the front and rear of the case. I left the front wide open since it's covered by the bezel and use a chrome finger guard on the rear. (Just like the one over the blowhole in the top of the case.) I think you had a good idea about replacing the 80mm intake fan in the lower front of the case with a 92mm fan. Sound like a good thing to do tomorrow. ;)

Jeeeeeeeez.

Maybe I do need that wing, air-dam, carbon air exhaust and Shelby Cobra stripe on my case after all.

(Steps back, thinks 'Hey. that could be fun!' - then proceeds to hit myself)

But seriously folks, my mobo is running at 27C and my proc is at 36C now. No need for additional cooling, is there?

Nice mod Dan. I have the Enlight 7237 casing too. Thinking of getting it modded but never got around to doing it yet. :)

PC On? :) Yeah - and I'm sitting here in my shorts. An efficiently quiet hum is issuing out of my desktop. Sometimes it's even quieter than the VAIO's when they start breathing out hot air. Asus graph shows a slightly wobbly line on the CPUfan though...
