Is it any surprise the Bush campaign can't figure out what John Kerry is even saying? If Kerry actually took a stance on something it might be easier. :)

As would I have, back then. You forget that I supported the war last year. I now realize that I was deceived by the administration.

So it's okay because John Kerry was deceived. But it's not okay that George W Bush was deceived by the CIA et al? You sure you're not a partisan hack?

Uhhhh correction. Bush wasn't decieved by the CIA he was decieved by the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans, created by one of his appointees.

Kerry never voted for the war. He voted to give president the authority to conduct the war.
It's kind of like voting to give Bush enough rope to hang himself with. :) The final decision is still Bush's.

Interesting quality to admire in a Presidential candidate.

factcheck.org is an interesting website. It also lists lies in Kerry and anti-Bush ads as well. But I'm sure there's a certain element out there that will pretend that part of the website doesn't exist, or that its somehow biased when it comes to those articles, but unbiased about the Bush ones.

It was the right thing for Congress to do to give Bush the authority to go to war, because the threat of war itself could be used as negotiating tool. It was foolish for Bush to actually go to war. Getting Saddam was not worth all this trouble.

The CIA didn't tell Bush that the case for WMD in Iraq was "A Slam Dunk?"

I have to know. Did you type that with a straight face? Come on...be truthful.

Try typing "Saddam was a threat worth spending hundreds of lives and billions to remove," with a straight face :D

Kerry voted to give the President authorization to go to war. That was a negotiating tactic to try and get Saddam to fully cooperate with the inspectors and provide proof that he had fully disarmed. It was not meant as the go-ahead to invade with no strategy on the after-effects of the fall of Baghdad.

Kerry is now following the stance anyone with a thinking mind is following: that the strategy in Iraq is non-existent and it's time to remove this failed administration and clean up the mess.
