Latest AV-Comparatives Results Released

A few small surprises in this one. Kaspersky is doing really poorly lately, now in the bottom half of the results. Kaspersky's results are only a smidge better than AVG, which is notorious for bad detection rates.

As usual, AVIRA kicked ass with tons of false positives and remains the best free anti virus.

What I dislike about that list is it's unclear what software versions they're using.

Sometimes it does matter, yeah. In the bigger picture, I hope people don't consult the AV-Comparatives results and get too rosy a picture of antivirus detection rates. It's great to have onboard as one layer of defense, but don't consider it anywhere close to infallible.

Is some cases they a very different. Microsoft was 14th in the avc report and 2nd in the sri one.
