Latest ATI beta drivers not working properly with RC1 x86

I have Vista RC1 x86 up and running on my second rig. After installing the latest ATI driver package for Vista, the monitor starts to blink once in a while (every few seconds). Timing is not constant, ie, it can be 2 seconds between them or 30 seconds.

Rolling back the driver eliminates the problem. Installation was done on a clean HD and ATI driver is the first thing installed on the system after the OS.

I don't know if this is an ATI problem or MS. I will report it later in the week.

If rolling back the driver eliminbates the problem, then it would seem to be an ATI problem. Go with what works.
