Can anyone driect me to the latest and greatest driver for Radeon 8500 under win2000. Or should I just download the one on ATI's webpage?

go for the ones at Rage3D. they're pretty good AFAIK. good speed boost, and the ability to force Anisotropic Filtering in Direct3D (in the registry).
