Mini initial ownership review:

So nice to have such a free revving engine. And that inline six sounds surprisingly good.

This thing really is the ultimate Bavarian Mile Muncher. Rock steady and smooth on the freeway and stable without any hint of body roll in the turns. The perfect balance between comfort and fun. The gear shift is a bit notchy - but I'm getting used to it.

I did think about getting a 330i instead. But I'm glad I didn't. The extra space and comfort is nice to have.

Nice car! I will never buy a car with cream colored interior though. It shows dirt and wear worse than any other color except maybe white.

Looks cool but I'm not a fan of the wood stuff in cars :(

I personally can't stand it!

Cool,
now run off to find a M5 front bumper :)

Looks unbelievably clean on the inside.

There are a number of pristine E39 M5's in my area. A beautiful white one is just a few blocks away and always makes me a little jealous. Such a fantastic car.

Lovely example of the e39, with a nice colour/interior combo. I like the wood effect, unlike Koing ( ;) ), as it works well in this type of car. I think it sucks in 1s or 3s, but 5s look good with it, and in combination with the beige leather it really looks good.

E39 is an awesome/timeless design.....unlike what BMW has been putting out since.
