Thanks for the info for satelight internet. My only other option as this time would be ISDN...(expensive yes... but im a diehard) Currently my best latency in the WON server for racing is .15. Again, im on analog at around 32k. Does anyone know a factor that would determine a latency prediction with 128k ISDN? I need to be below .1 to be comfy

.15 and .1 -- what? Latency is almost always measured in milliseconds (ms), and I can promise you that you'll never see .15/.1 on any connection -- even on the fastest LAN. :)

The limited LAN racing experiences I have had, have registerd Laytencys of .01. In the software (NASCAR 3) when you connect to a server host it gives you the latency you are at... Mine usually says between .13 at the lowest and .16 at the highest. These numbers are below parr regarding clean warp free gameplay. numbers below .1 are usually okay. I may be off base here but these are the numbers that the software reports.
Is laytency something that would improve with 128K ISDN? or are there any other factors that I can adjust to improve it?

Average dialup latency is around 160 msec between your modem and the NAS. ISDN latency would be 30msec between an ISDN router and the same NAS. If you have an ISDN modem, your latency will be higher.
