late summer airline ticket deal, NY to Ireland $150+tax each way

Just bought some tickets for my parents to visit Ireland. Laguardia to Shannon on U.S. Airways (connection in Philadelphia) for $150 + tax each way. I got tickets for 9-21/9-29 dates but I checked and 9/4-9/11 and some other dates are available, you'll just have to play around with the dates until you find a pair that works.

Couple that with a land-only package deal like this one (5 days/4 nights with 1 rental car and 1 night castle stay for $499) and you have the makings of a pretty darn nice vacation 🙂

Didn't find it anywhere, did a lot of legwork and shopping around on various airline's websites with different airports and dates, and wound up finding this deal.

Ok

Did you find it on us airways website then?

did two weeks in ireland a few years ago, including dublin on st paddy's day. best vacation of my life, this is a nice deal. some gorgeous driving scenery around the west of ireland, and shannon is the perfect place to start

I have to say, out of all the countries i've been lucky enough to visit, the people in Ireland were by FAR the friendliest bunch i ever met. Combined with stunning landscapes (check out the Wicklow mountains) and some excellent sightseeing, Ireland is definately one of my favorite places to visit.
