Late night television talk show, audience

how far ahead of the show should we arrive? I got invited to the Jimmy Kimmel show tomorrow night, they say doors open at 6:45, taping at 9:05, so should we get there much earlier than 6:45? also, New Found Glory is playing, i know any of you old fogies in here think they are trash, but they might draw more of a crowd i would think. though i would suppose any of the guests would draw crowds as well. anyway, any experiences?

When I went to the Tonight Show a couple years ago I think we got there about an hour or hour and a half before they opened it up. We were the last people to get in.

when i saw conan last summer, taping was at 4 and we got there around 1:30 if i remember well, we were about 10th in line
