Post here anytime 11pm or later your time. What the hell are you doing? Just stumble in drunk? Late night at the office? Wife just left you and you are sobbing yourself to sleep? Midnight snacking? What's up late night crew?

Just been chillin after working today and coming home to cook dinner. The clock struck midnight and I just turned 43 years old. Just popped my sleeping pills and gonna browse the intertubes until they hit me and then stumble into bed.

Workin'. The joys of IT...getting to do all of the fun stuff after normal business hours when you should be sleeping.

Maybe I'll go get some bulk beef from McDonalds...
 
I hate when my wife needs the ceiling fan to sleep. I can't breathe properly with the air circulating directly onto me. So I must have some apnea thing also going on because I tried falling asleep and woke because I felt like I stopped breathing, multiple times. So I naturally did what most would do - go downstairs and reheat some pizza and start watching some tv episodes. After doing that for an hour I stumbled upon this post. I plan on sleeping on the loveseat here in my home office. Wouldn't be the first time.

dude! that is highly disappointing. any type of 2am food run means you are craving some of that salty delicious terrible food and nothing else will satisfy the craving!

It was just funny because I was doing an after-hours site upgrade, went to get food, and THEY were doing an after-hours site upgrade. Can't win 😀

I should start carrying my Instant Pot with me, lol
 
Another night up past midnight, sipping on some tea about to feast on some trazadone and ribeye steak. Debating on firing up some BF1 after shooting off a work email. Wondering if Kaido is craving some greasy goodness at this hour.

I changed the post time in this thread to 11pm or later your time. It seems midnight might be late for folks here in the older demographic 🙂
 
I just beat Final Fantasy 5. Tough boss. I'll probably fall asleep around 4 and wake up at 8 to go into work. Good times. 😛

I did finally make it to McDonalds tonight, lol. The quarter-pounder was surprisingly NOT greasy (fresh beef). I think the best review is summed up as "not bad". Although I drove away before checking, and they gave me a quarter-pounder instead of a double quarter-ponder, so I got shorted on my protein tonight 🙁

I also tried their new chicken sandwich, and this was literally the full menu name: "Sweet BBQ Bacon with Buttermilk Crispy Chicken". All I can say is Son, I am Disappoint. I typically pack my own lunchbox, but I also like to try new things, and sometimes you need some perspective to realize that you're better off cooking at home lol.

As for me it's only 11:52, but I don't sleep until 1-3am anyway. I should really get a better sleep schedule but hey, it's summer. You guys are tempting me though, I might have to sneak out and grab some mcdonalds 😳
 
11:01pm EST check-in. Stuffed full of chinese food and playing Portal 2.

There needs to be a Portal 3 but Valve decided they wanted to stop making awesome games. wtf.
 
Accomplishing a lot in the gaming world tonight. Smashed some portal 2 boards. Smacked around some mofos in BF1. Pre-ordered BFV.

late night is the only time I get peace and tranquility..... and can freely booze without judgement. Also time to play games that I wouldn't o therwise.

Playing DOTA 2 and listening to this song. Heard it once on XM while traveling and it's kinda been stuck in my head.


EDIT: Booze of choice is a local brewery, medusa by Copperhead brewery. 10.5% ABV Belgian Quad.

I decided to pick up a PS4 Pro and MLB The Show 18. It's my first baseball video game since Ken Griffey Jr. on the SNES. I just got drafted by the Reds and put on their minor league team. Yay?
