Late 2011 Macbook Pro Graphics Bug

Does that only happen with iPhoto or in other applications as well?

Do you have up to date video drivers installed?

Drivers are part of OS updates. There are not any standalone drivers to install.

I don't have a Mac with an HD2000/3000 to test. But it could be a bug or limitation of that chip maybe. Although it seems a bit unlikely.

Is your iPhoto fully up to date?
 
Thanks for the reply. The drivers are all up-to date since i am running Lion 10.7.3. iPhoto version is 9.2.2 which is the most recent one. This is only happening in iPhoto. Have searched the internet seems like I am the only one having this issue. Nothing on the Apple support forms.
 
Recent update: iPhoto 9.2.3 does not fix the issue. Now waiting for 10.7.4 to come out, before i take this back to apple care.
