One Error is enough - After a hard reset will it happen again ?

Should I disable Sleep (Hibernate) after this Crap ?

I think that you would get more responses to your threads, if you actually gave a little background info in your posts, and posted a little more sober.

LARRY: Waiting for my chance to SLAM YOU.

Granted this only happened once running an AMD 2600X on a C7H and she recovered nicely - Butt Why ?

A 3700K on an ASUS X470 C7H is another story !

The Zen+ 2600X is a HOT Chip and dials in nicely on a X470 with added voltage; where as, the ZEN3 3700X is without doubt faster considering the AMD WinX Chipset Drivers have to be changed - Some Good - Some not so Good; particularly, the Asus RealTech Audio Dvr update is very low on recording DB's.

HIC ! ;o)

I guess, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to slam you, so much as explain that I have trouble understanding your posts, which are very much more a sort of hit-and-run sort of thing than any realistic tech-support request scenario.

Edit: And yes, I recommend setting "Sleep After" to "NEVER", in Power Plans/Profiles.

I mean, can't you at least give us the KB number of the "last WinX Update" that you did, that you claim is giving you sleep problems, so that we can research if other people are having that problem? Something tangible to work with, from a tech-support perspective?

It could be your PSU going, if it's older (older than 3-5 years, and not one with Jpn capacitors), I had that happen to a friend of mine a few years back, the +5Vsb line got flaky, and he couldn't power-on immediately with it. We replaced it, and all was well.

I'm not saying conclusively that it IS the PSU at this point, but only that it could be a possibility.

It could be a software issue too, I suppose.

I've rarely had "Sleep Mode" function properly, except on pre-built OEM systems where they vet all of the out-of-the-box drivers. Though, Win10 (I assume that's what you mean by WinX) has gotten a bit better at that.
