Last Sat's Lynyrd Skynryd Concert... Mullets Galore

So, I acquired a buncha free tix to the Skynyrd show... I think my crew were the blackest ppl there... (we're all quite white). After getting sloshed pre-party in the parking lot, we started a chant of "the north won" at the show, as well as "Cut the mullet" everytime we saw one. I wonder how many rednecks we pissed off lol.

Total # of mullets seen: 25
Femmullets: 9
"Mustache Only's" - 7

I'm amazed we didn't get our arses beat by Jeb, Billy-bob, & Roscoe. But then again, we had a crew of 8 dudes 😀

Sorry, had to post the totals in case anybody was curious. The show was horrible, and the sound sucked.
 
Freakin BMG sent us one of their CDs... my brother forgot to cancel it and they sent it to us. Wasn't sure if I should return it but since you said they sucked, I think I'll go ahead and return this muther.
 
Did the show suck b/c you don't like their music? Or did the show suck b/c the sound was bad, or their performance was bad? And how many Rebel Flags did you see? 🙂
 
Lynyrd Skynyrd ended in 1977. When Ronnie and Steve and Cassie Gaines died in that plane crash it was over. The Rossington-Collins Band was pretty decent in the early 80's, but they were no Skynyrd and everything since then has been nothing more than far less talented performers attempting to cash in on the name. You can stick 4 garage-band rejects in Nehru jackets and call them the Beatles, but it's not the same and neither is the "new" Lynyrd Skynyrd.

No, the show just sucked in general. Of course, it's not really skynyrd, so who cares anyway. It's more of a novelty band nowadays. But yeah, sound sucked total arse.

Too many rebel flags to count.
