The wall is turnin out pretty good.

there are 2 screws that are gunna suck, and not want to stay hidden, but other than that, its looking a lot smother, and there no huge hole in the wall.

the area i have to paint is fairly significant, but its low, in a corner, and no where near a huge traffic area, so it shouldnt be to bad.

Screw in the drywall screw and cover it with joint compound. Use hair dryer to dry the compound and sand. Put a second skim layer to smooth out any defect and use hair dryer again to dry the area. Sand and prime the area or just skip to painting it. Use hair dryer to dry the paint. You can complete the entire patching process under an hour.

Prime first. You can paint over it faster, and it won't soak into the drywall.

priming it first isnt how we did the other coats though, and will make it look diferent

were gunna have to tell my parents anyways, just not the entire story.

i dont have time to do it all right now, the one screw wont go in anymore so yea, but the mud im using is to runny, i cant get it to mix up right, but it works, the biggest issue is a crack next to the patch, its a good difference, and thus takes to much mud to fill in. i am also having issues covering the mesh tape, but meh, it will get covered.

i think im gunna do one more skim layer on, and be done. prolly in about 3 hours, cuz i gotta go read more
