Given that so many Dem officeholders were running and hiding from Obama earlier this year, he appears to have had fairly substantial coattails-while Romney had none at all.

Personally I extremely happy WWE moneybags Linda McMahon got absolutely stomped in CT-after spending almost $100 million out of her own pocket and outspending Chris Murphy 4 to 1. She ran a very slick Madison Avenue type campaign directed towards suburban woman and it had looked like it would work.

On the negative side it looks like Michele Bachmann survived.

I (for one) was just happy that Linda McMahon was once again unable to buy herself a Senate seat with 70 million bucks worth of negative campaign ads. Perhaps Democracy still works after all.

And Jesse Jackson Jr won from the Mayo clinic. That might be a first though I wouldn't bet money on it knowing politicians and how stupid their constituents are.

Pretty much shows that every negative stereotype about Chicago is true.
