Last minute: Going to Honolulu on Saturday

Just got a last minute deal for $370/person from LAX to HNL w/ hotel (2 stars but we don't really care and it at least got decent reviews).

Anyways, we've already been to Maui for our honeymoon last year but what is there to do and see in HNL? I plan on going to see Pearl Harbor but other suggestions would be helpful. THX.
 
Just make sure you don't try to conceal a weapon. You can't get away with that in HI. No sir, you better not even try! Those island folks will see you sticking out like a sore thumb!

booked it though travelocity. my friend check a couple of minutes later and it went up to $395/person.
 
Depends on what you like.

Beaches: Check out HAnauma Bay, Sandys, Makapu`u (These are all south shore beaches).
Hiking: St. Louis Heights (Wa`ahila Ridge)
Food: Eat at the local places - Zippy's, Richies, L&L's, etc.

Don't stay just in Waikiki, you'll have wasted your vacation. Check out the north shore, the Makaha-Waianae Coast, the Kailua-Lanikai Beaches, etc.

Don't leave ANYTHING valueable in your car, it will get stolen. Use your hotels safe, or stuff might get stolen.

Come by the UH Law School's Law Library....I'll be in the back, carrel 271...
 
take a short flight to the big island and see the black sand beaches.

i ve heard of pink sand beaches too, but never saw them.
