Last Kingdom on BBC America

This looks like a ripoff of Vikings. Can't tell if it's worth watching yet but I do love me a period drama.

Probably the other way around, since Last Kingdom is based on Bernard Cornwell's books, which have been around for five years or so.

Have just started watching The Last Kingdom myself, it is similar to Vikings, which isn't a bad thing in my eyes.

I'll give it a 8.2/10 so far myself, I am binge watching it at the moment and only 3 episodes in.

Pretty well done.

I liked season 1 and give a 7/10. I read the series from Bernard Cornwell and liked the books. Looking forward for season 2 and to see where it goes.

Enjoyed season 1 and looking forward to season 2. Season 1 was a good 30 years after the current season of Vikings.

Speaking of Vikings, if the series continues long enough (assuming they continue it after Ragnar's death) it'll be interesting to see how they transform little Ivar into a warrior.
