God i love open book, open note, open anything exams... Takes the edge off of having to remember those minute details that always fall through the cracks....

I have everything tabbed (close to 80 tabs total), organized according to subject, with my own master table of contents to keep things quickly accessable and within easy grasp.

Ahhhh, closing the door on being a 1L, i didnt think i would be this elated 🙂

Anyone else got exams this week?

 
I've already had two...one more tomorrow...haven't slept since saturday night...but oh well...theres still hope for after my final tomorrow...🙂
I wish I could have an open anything exam...I'm lucky if I get one 3x5 notecard...it's hard to remember every damn theorem used in compression...freakin transforms suck a$$

how slammed are you getting?

got my last final from 6 to 8 tomorrow night

and that many tabs is useless. seriously, looking through them all takes an incredible amount of time. my theory is, if you're looking through your notes you've already lost.

My MDP-130 isn't here yet ... the guy shipped it from VA early this morning and it has to get ALL the way to CA ...
 
The exams aren't designed for you to be totally dependent upon the book and notes, you'll spend too much time sorting through things.
The process of organizing and compiling it all does help in review material though.

The tabs are color coded, i can get to any section needed w/i 3-4 seconds.... Specific topic w/i 5-6.

My 125 page class notes is condensed into a 62 page outline of the major topics, cases, and rules.
