In this case, the GeForce2 Pro. Faster 3D performance than the ATI Radeon. Credible 2D performance (not as good as the Radeon, but I'd doubt you'd notice). Also cheaper.

Unless you *really* need the Video In, go with the GeForce2 Pro.

I have the gainward in one of my machines, and it's a great card. keep in mind that it does not have the vivo functions the radeon does tho (just tv out).

Just got a msi geforce 2 pro 64 a few weeks back and it works great. tv out features and comes with overclocking and dvd software. Paid 128.00 for it from pc etc in georgia. Found them on pricewatch and their service was great. Arrived in less than 72 hours. I have a 1.333 athlon with a A7M266 board. 512 mgs DDR Ram and the vid card was a great addition.... Hope this helps

GeForce all the way. Better Driver support, and you can't go wrong with Gainward. Excellent quality, excellent prices. I recently bought the Gainward GeForce3 and couldn't be happier with it. I'm sure their GF2 Pro is just as good for the chip it's based on.

I have a Radeon currently in my system, but just saw on the order tracking at Newegg that my Gainward Pro/450 shipped today! The Radeon does have a great picture, but in Win 2K the speed sucks! I play Unreal Tournament, Q3, Colin Mcrae 2, Serious Sam, and they all play alright under 98 or ME, but the speed hit under 2K is too much! Also, if you get the Radeon you need one of the registry tweakers and to get acceptable performance, you need to change it for every game you play. When you put together all the hassles to get the Radeon to acceptable performance and take into account that NOTHING makes it acceptable in Win 2K, you understand why I ordered the Gainward Pro/450.

Radeon! I dont notice any slower speed when using WIn 2k. Lose maybe 100 points in 3dmark 2k1, which is about 1-2%. Although it is a bit slower than the GF2 pro, it has better image quality, and is adequate for all current games. However, i would probably pick up a Radeon 32mb LE until it holds over till next year sometime perhaps. Well, just my thoughts.
