If you sign up for a new t-mobile service plan on amazon, you get the phone (which is normally $249), with 2 mail in rebates. Both rebates add up to $300!!

There's a warning in the reviews that Amazon is pretty shady when it comes to mailing out rebates. YMMV

Sign up. Get both rebates. Quit. Sell phone.

Same rules @ A1wireless.com for $150 - $175 MIR.

You might want to check this phone out in person first, it's a little large IMHO.

That's what I was wondering. Not that it matters, they don't cover Charlotte, NC. Being in the backwoods as we apparently are, LOL. :D

I had no trouble with receiving my rebates for this phone last year. As far as the phone is concerned, I love it.

Quit?
You can't simply terminate your contract.
It is specifically stated in both Amazon and TMobile rebates.

If you do plan on selling your phone, be sure to contact T-mobile CS to get your phone unlocked.

I've had mine for almost a year. I love this phone. It takes a bit to get used to the keypad but it is actually more convenient than my Samsung S105.
The bluetooth isn't useful for me but, believe it or not, the camera is great! You don't realize how much you can use it until you have it & make a concious effort to use it. I'm always sending pictures of items I would like to buy to her. Very nice.
I bought new covers for it over at cellphoneshop.com & they were simple to replace.
All-in-all, this is like the Honda Civic of cell phones. Very customizable if not the sleekest.

I've been looking for a new faceplate (considering how ugly the default T-mobile one is), but shipping looks a little high ($5) for a single faceplate.

Hope nobody hurried to get in on this deal earlier today, because the price has now dropped $20 to -$70.01

however rebates only show $250 now instead of the original $300.

Whoa, that was quick. When I last posted there were still $300 in rebates listed (probably incorrectly). Now the phone is up to -$20.01 so "my bad" on the previous post. :)
